Designed as a calm and connected learning environment, this childcare centre in Unanderra is shaped by landscape, daylight and a clear spatial rhythm. Low, linear built forms gently step across the site, creating a protected and legible setting where play, movement and supervision remain intuitive and interconnected. Robust, natural materials are balanced with layered planting to soften the architecture and ground it within its surroundings. A considered terrace system anchors the building to the sloping site while enabling safe, engaging outdoor exploration across multiple levels, reinforcing a strong connection between indoor learning spaces and nature.
